My Mission & Vision
My mission is to inspire and empower people to lead lives filled with joy, laughter, and holistic well-being. I guide individuals to rediscover their inner joy through the uplifting practices of longevity fitness, qigong, and mindfulness.
I envision a world where joy is not just an emotion but a way of life. I aim to create a global community where laughter and holistic practices like movement and functional fitness are embraced as essential elements of a joyful, healthy, and fulfilling life.
Joyful Movement
DISCOVER THE JOY OF MOVEMENT
Movement is life. Every time you stand up from a chair, reach into a cabinet, carry groceries, climb a flight of stairs, or take a walk with a friend, you are practicing the skills that allow you to live with confidence and vitality. As we grow older, movement becomes even more important. It is one of the few things that positively affects nearly every system in the body.
Doing consistent exercises that meet you where you are today helps you move more freely through life. In our classes, we focus on strengthening your muscles in a joyful way that allows you to feel confident and independent as you age. While you can move on your own, when you practice movements in a guided group setting, it is not only safer; it’s a whole lot more fun!
When we move regularly, we give ourselves the greatest gift: the ability to continue doing the things we love.
Qigong
EXPLORE THE FLOW OF QIGONG
One of my passions is teaching Qigong (pronounced “Chee gong”). It is a powerful way to maintain a healthy, joyful lifestyle. Qigong was developed in China thousands of years ago as part of traditional Chinese medicine.
“Qi” means energy and “gong” means to work with, so simply put Qigong means working with the body’s energy intelligence. Through slow-moving meditation, Qigong helps you heal physical, emotional and spiritual pain using four core components: breathing, movement/postures, meditation/visualization and chanting/healing sound vibration. These practices enhance the flow of your energy, open any energy blockages you may have, and bring your energy back into balance. Having balanced, smoothly flowing energy is the key to experiencing and maintaining optimal health and joy.
Longevity Fitness
LET’S LIVE LONG AND HEALTHY TOGETHER
My signature Longevity Fitness and Geri-Fit classes are designed specifically for older adults who want to improve their strength, mobility, balance, posture, and overall quality of life in a safe, uplifting, and encouraging environment.
Instead of extreme workouts or keeping up with younger generations, my classes are about helping your body stay functional, resilient, and capable for everyday living — while also nurturing emotional well-being and joy.
Join me in class to feel strong and healthy for the long run!
Meet Mo Joy Keene
-

Thank you for landing here!
Hi, I’m Mo Joy Keene, and I am all about joy! I help people get in touch with—and feel—their innate joy. Although joy is our birthright, an inherent part of who we are, it also requires intentional effort to cultivate and maintain. It is a privilege and an honor for me to guide you on your path to living a joyful and fulfilling life.
“The times that I have practiced moving meditation with Mo have been a Godsend! She is knowledgeable and professional in her teaching of Qigong and longevity practices. She is a living example of her healthy disciplines. I felt aligned both physically and mentally after attending her sessions and even experienced some relief to my injured knee. I look forward to attending future sessions to come with Mo Joy!”

“I highly, highly recommend Mo's Qigong classes! I find her classes a wonderful, peaceful break from my busy life. To perform moves in a slow, mindful manner is a fabulous practice that I try to carry over to my life. Mo is extremely knowledgeable- I love her explanations of how various moves are connected to bodily organs and systems. She is an incredibly positive person — I leave her classes not only relaxed but also uplifted. I'm so grateful to have found her class!”

"I began practicing QiGong with Mo and was hooked from the start. I did a few sessions with other QiGong instructors but they didn’t have the same zest, energy or passion I felt immediately from her. She is sincere in her love for the art and has practiced for many years. With her professionalism and focused attention, she’ll guide you to learn, while experiencing joy in the process. I would, and do, recommend her to anyone I know with the confidence she’ll offer incredible teaching.”
